Texas Lonestar Baseball (TLB) coaches are all proven baseball experts, with specific skills in coaching youth baseball. From developing fundamentals, introducing advanced concepts, and fine-tuning All-Star players, TLB coaches are dedicated to helping each player reach their full potential on and off the field.

For those players nearing high school age, our coaches are well-versed in preparing players who have a specific desire to pursue baseball at the collegiate level. Some coaches are also available for 1:1 lessons with players at our facility in Waller.

Player in the minor-league and college World Series, then drafted by the Houston Astros. 19+ years of coaching experience. Specific focus in high school athlete development for collegiate and professional levels.

JOSH ARLDT

Head Coach

Began coaching in 2012, and select baseball in 2020 with a successful 7U Premier Baseball team. Built a new team at TLB in Spring of 2024 with a 24-16 record, followed by a Fall tournament season record of 13-3.

All-District shortstop and 3-hole hitter for Cypress Creek HS, .386 average and all-conference honors third baseman for Central Christian College, 18 years of youth baseball development and select teams.

I have had the pleasure of coaching youth baseball for close to a decade, with ages ranging from 9U-16U. I have coached for Texas Smash (9U), Texas Elite Lobos (10U), RC Elite Mizuno (11U-16U), and Tomball Memorial HS Prep.

I have an extensive playing and coaching background that has seen success at the Div. I & professional level of baseball and dates all the way back to 2010. I am a devoted father to my seven year old daughter, Aurora, and love spending any free time that I have with her. I also have a little brother, Gabriel, who is fifteen years my junior that I have coached since birth that will play Div. I JuCo baseball in 2027. Drafted 30th Rd (2011, Padres) (DNS)
